The launch, which took place on Thursday, 22 January 2026, was rolled out across key JoyNews programmes, including JoySMS, AM Show, and The Pulse.

The Climate Evidence series, funded by the CLARE R4I Opportunities Fund, will run until March 2026.

It focuses on climate change-related issues, highlighting practical solutions communities are implementing to address challenges such as floods, droughts, coastal erosion, and erratic rainfall.

For nearly all rural and urban communities in Ghana, climate change has become a pressing concern, affecting agriculture, water resources, and livelihoods. Media experts say the series could play a key role in raising awareness and promoting evidence-based approaches to climate resilience.

The series will be integrated into JoyNews regular programming and online platforms, aiming to educate, inform, and inspire audiences to engage with climate adaptation strategies.
